Electrician in Mechelen

In Mechelen we renew outdated installations, install consumer units with residual current devices and circuit breakers, and extend existing installations with additional circuits or sockets. In the older town houses the emphasis is often on making things safe and bringing them up to standard.

In the housing developments around Mechelen it is often a matter of homes that already have a solid base, but where you want to add heavier consumers. We then check whether the connection and the consumer unit can handle the extra load before we install anything.

If you are renovating a home in or around Mechelen, we align the electrical installation with your new layout. We think along with you about sufficient sockets, separate circuits for appliances such as an oven or heat pump, and an installation that remains expandable later.

In housing estate properties there is often space and structure to work neatly. That makes it easier to integrate a charging point or home battery and to build the installation properly from the start, without duplicated work later.

With a private driveway or garage, as in many housing developments around Mechelen, a charging point can usually be integrated well. We connect it with the right protection and, where useful, with dynamic charging so that your installation does not become overloaded.

If you are considering a home battery to store self generated electricity, we will assess whether it is worthwhile in your situation. Since the reversing meter has been phased out, self consumption weighs more heavily, but the result depends on your consumption and home. We will explain that honestly.
