We align the EV charger, connection and consumption with each other, so you can charge safely and smoothly at home or at work.
An electric car charges most comfortably where it stands still anyway: at home on the driveway or in the company car park. However, mounting a charging point on the wall is only part of the story. The connection, the distribution board and the rest of your consumption must be able to handle that extra demand.
That is why we do not look at the charging installation in isolation, but as part of your complete electrical installation.
Which charging point is suitable depends, among other things, on how quickly you want to charge and what your connection allows. A higher charging capacity charges faster, but also demands more from your installation. Together we choose a solution that is feasible for your board and cabling.
For a business, the additional question is how many vehicles need to be able to charge at the same time. That changes the way we build the installation.
Sometimes your connection is already at its limit and an upgrade is needed before you can charge smoothly. In other cases, the charging point fits neatly within what your installation can handle. Which applies to you becomes clear from a site visit where we check your board and connection.
That way you avoid your fuses blowing as soon as the car charges while other appliances at home are still running.
With dynamic charging, the charging point adjusts the charging power to what is still available at that moment. If a lot is running in the home, the car charges more slowly. If there is capacity to spare, charging speeds up. This way your connection stays within its limits without you having to switch anything yourself.
If you have solar panels or a home battery, we can combine charging with them, so that you charge the car with your own power as much as possible instead of from the grid.
