Flemish Brabant is the second-smallest province in Belgium, but it is long and narrow: from west to east it measures about 90 km. It completely surrounds the Brussels-Capital Region. Most of the province belongs to the Brabant loam region, with the Pajottenland in the south-west, the Hageland in the north-east and Droog Haspengouw in the south-east. Leuven is the provincial capital.
The arrondissement of Halle-Vilvoorde is more densely populated than the arrondissement of Leuven. For your electrical installation, that makes no difference: the AREI applies in Vilvoorde or Zaventem just as it does in a village in the Hageland. What does differ is the home itself.
