For a safe installation, we look at your connection, your consumer unit and the available capacity. Sometimes an upgrade or an adjustment to the consumer unit is needed, especially if there are other heavy loads as well.
If you have solar panels or a battery, we assess whether dynamic charging is worthwhile, so that you charge as much as possible with your own energy.

Frequently asked questions
- Can I not simply charge with a socket?
- For occasional charging sometimes, but for regular charging an EV charger is safer and faster. A standard socket is not made for that.
- Do I need a capacity upgrade?
- That depends on your installation and your consumption. We will assess whether your available capacity is sufficient or whether an adjustment is needed.
- Can the EV charger work with my solar panels?
- With dynamic charging you can align charging with your generation and consumption. We will assess whether that makes sense in your situation.
- Do I need to register my charging station with the grid operator?
- Yes. In Flanders you must register a fixed charging point with your grid operator Fluvius. We install the charging station in accordance with the regulations and make sure the connection is in order; the registration itself is done through your grid operator and we explain how that works.
- Do I need a single phase or three phase connection for a charging station?
- That depends on your connection and on how fast you want to charge. On a single phase connection you charge more slowly; for higher charging capacities such as 11 kW you need a three phase connection. We assess your consumer unit and your vehicle and advise on what suits you.
- Am I allowed to connect a charging station myself?
- A charging station belongs on its own, correctly protected circuit that complies with the Belgian electrical code, and a new or modified installation must be inspected. That is why you are better off having this installed by a professional: we install everything in accordance with the regulations and make it ready for inspection.
